Philosophy
As PGA/LPGA professionals, we are committed to helping you achieve a greater enjoyment of the game. Whether you are just being introduced to the game, or training for high level tournament play, our time tested techniques can help you realize your golfing goals. Strong emphasis is placed on the importance of pre-swing fundamentals. The proper grip, aim, stance, balance, posture, alignment and ball position (the ABC -123 approach) is the foundation and basis of any good golf swing.
Educating the student on the how’s and why’s, and not just the do’s and don’ts, is fundamental to our teaching philosophy. Understanding the cause and effect relationships that occur with your golf swing will help you become a better player. The more knowledge you have, the better equipped you will be to handle the challenges of this game. (we are a firm believer in the nine Ball Flight Laws of golf and are committed in helping you better understand your golf swing. )
People learn new tasks differently. As instructors, it is our responsibility to ensure you understand the message in the most concise method possible. There are three methods of learning: HEAR IT, SEE IT, and FEEL IT. We believe in utilizing all three styles. Extensive use of video equipment is used to help enhance the learning experience. What you “feel” you are doing is not always the case, once viewed on video. “Feel and real” must be the same to play consistent golf. Swing development requires practice along with professional guidance to keep you on the path to better golf. Practicing correctly, with prescribed swing drills, will help accomplish this goal. Practice creates repetition, and repetition brings about change.
Enjoy your Game!
